What Tarox needed

Tarox have worldwide success and respect in the manufacturing of performance brakes. Covering the cars you see on the roads everyday, all the way up to the Formula 1 cars racing exotic grand prix circuits around the world.

With such a huge web presence in many countries, Tarox felt like the timing was right to build an online store where their customers can order directly and get their replacement brakes and brake accessories delivered with ease.

The requirements for the new online store were to keep the look and feel similar to the worldwide Tarox websites, with an emphasis on easy navigation and sorting options. The site needed to be mobile friendly and adapt to work with any mobile device or tablet.

Manufacturing and selling almost 40,000 products, Tarox needed a very stable and reliable platform to handle such a huge catalogue of products and options.

What we did

After careful planning we decided a WordPress eCommerce website was the perfect solution to fit with everything they needed, and what they were going to need with their future plans.

Using WordPress as the main platform we were able to build a fast and efficient site with an easy to use admin area for Tarox to edit pages and create completely new sections and products themselves.

We used a large full width product feature / slider on the homepage to set the site off with a visual illustration of ‘what they do’, and created landing pages for different products to break down the areas of this very large site.

The product finder was an important element to this website, and enables a buyer to narrow down exactly what they need with a few simple clicks.
