Salt is a CIA Agent who has taken an oath to do her duty, defend her honour and serve her country. However, these are all tested when she is accused by a defector of being a Russian spy.
Salt is forced to go on the run, and use all of her skills to evade those who are after her. Proving her innocence is fruitless, and the question burns ever greater as the plot unravels: Who is Salt?
