£3.50 carvery and who can grumble. Good food, pleasant service, would definately recommend for price

For many in Accrington this is the last stop on a night out because of its late (early?) opening hours! You need to get in before 1am to avoid queuing up but once in there you will struggle to move because it is so busy! The drink selection is good and the prices are the same as elsewhere in the town but make sure you don’t go in two nights in a row or even two weeks in a row because you will experience déjà vu. The music is the same every week and I struggle to work out why they hire a DJ. It is the same 80’s music followed by newer stuff every week! Its good as a one off but every week gets too much!

top pub- standing next to the old accrinton stanley football ground (now playing field)this is a must for the sporting "anorak". Lots of memorabilia covering all sports and more important a real friendly pub. 5 real ales + usual tetleys guiness etc good value bar snacks and a pleasant atmosphere. Found it hard to drag myself away!!!.
