Exceptional

The only hairdressers i found that i liked and stuck with. I have been a customer for about 5/6 years. The staff are great, friendly and chatty and not an ounce of the 'bitchy atmosphere' or 'boring small-talk' that comes across in many salons. This salon make you feel really valued as a customer.
It's very modern with lots of interactive computerised 'thingys'!! lol and a very long, great drinks list that even includes wine and champagne!! (Complimentary of course) :)
and im also quite impressed with the fact that Celeste and her team have just designed the hairstyles for the Hollyoaks cast in the sexy male/female calendars! :)....it's all going on!!
Also, they have a great little beauty salon attached so you can even have treatments whilst you're waiting for your foils to work!!! :D

Very Good

Edisford Bridge; what a great little place for a day out that costs next to nothing. It's best to go when the weather is nice to make use of the facilities. A lovely little park for the children to play on, fields to run around in safely, a shallow river to keep children amused for hours and a little minature ride on railway which is great fun and only 50p per person.
I would advise taking a picnic or a BBQ, some chilled wine, a good book and some fishing nets for the little ones. It has a wonderful relaxing atmosphere and you will want to stay for hours!
There is a pay and display car park but only about £1:80 for a few hours!
A blissfully relaxing afternoon!

Very Good

There are a few species of stingray and the ones at the Sea life Centre in the open tank are most definitely the 'non dangerous' ones!! lol
Trust me, it's worth a visit just to spend time in this room! and bear in mind, Steve Irwin never blamed an animal who tried to attack him, he would just say they were protecting themselves and he was on their territory...they only attack if they feel threatened...but Blackpool's won't attack you, i'm sure of it, they are curious and attention seeking!!!...and even if they did, humans rarely die from their sting! :D

Very Good

This centre only takes about half an hour to walk around so in that sense it is a little disappointing, but you can go back into it and stay as long as you like.
There are a good range of fish and sea creatures to see, and the rock pool area is quite fascinating if you spend time handling the creatures. there is always a member of staff in this area who is more than happy to talk about each sea creature and they are all very knowledgeable about their subject.
The stingray pool is fabulous. These are very curious creatures and allow you to stroke them as they swim by. My daughter spent the majority of the time in this room, it was fascinating.
A little pricey for what you get but overall if you use your time well you can make your visit more interesting. The staff are happy to talk about anything you want to know, for as long as you need them.

Exceptional

Cassis Restaurant set within Stanley House is without a doubt one of the best meals i have had in a while.
The food is exceptional and the service marvellous.
The decor here will not be to everyone’s taste and may not be what you might expect from a 400 year old manor house. The interior designers have created something truly unique that you will either love or hate. Personally i love it and it's well worth a visit.
The staff are also not what you would expect from this type of restaurant, there is no aloofness just good old fashioned Lancashire hospitality, but this just adds to the quirkiness of the place.
After your meal there is a lovely little drinks deck upstairs where you can relax and enjoy an extended evening out.
A truly magnificent find, a little pricey but more than worth it for a special occasion.
