Shabby treatment repeatedly after many years loyalty.
I am not at all happy with this company and on a number of occasions have been left stranded at night, and once at midnight in the Birmingham City Centre. Also, on two occasions I was told the driver drove away claiming it was a no-show, during which time at least four people were on constant watch from a bay window in Acocks Green. If you want a reliable company and one that will treat you fairly in the event of their 'cock up', don't use this company. My most recent complaint was the following, to which the response offered by Castle Cars/Birmingham Radio Cars, (now apparently the same company) was 50p off my next trip which I find laughable. When I said I was dissatisfied with this, and asked to speak to a line manager, I was told by a woman, Debbie, that they 'didn't have one', and she refused to give any other senior person's name for me to pursue my complaint and was also quite rude. Here is my most recent COMPLAINT.
I ordered a taxi this evening (5th Nov) about 5.50pm through the staff on reception at the MAC.
I was told the wait would be 20 minutes.
I waited in the foyer the whole time, as outside it was pouring with rain.
I do not have a mobile.
By 6.30pm no taxi had arrived. (I waited for well over an hour, maybe longer, and eventually cancelled it and caught the bus).
The staff phoned on my behalf to see what had happened to my BRC taxi.
I was told the BRC taxi had come and gone and the driver had announced a NO SHOW. (Do I ever 'No Show'?)
The person on the phone, a male, said the driver did not come in to the foyer. He just waited outside. How would I know he had arrived? Did he really expect me to wait for twenty, thirty, forty mins. Outside in the cold and wet?
I feel this is very disrespectful as well as inconsiderate when the driver cannot be bothered to get out of his car and come into the foyer of the building.
I am a good customer and never mess the drivers about, why do they mess me about? I am a loyal customer also, yet I do not seem to have that loyalty returned by Castle/Birmingham Radio Cars.
I hope you can address this issue for me, and look forward to a speedy reply.
(I continue to wait, now two months later. With regret, I have now stopped using this company which has turned out to be a big disappointment.
