Do NOT use this firm for conveyancing! We had the unfortunate luck to come across them through the sale of our house as our purchaser was using them. Basically, our house sale has fallen through due to them and a particular solicitor who works there. They have made our life hell the past few weeks. They are extremely slow to do anything. They left the searches right to the last minute and then when we thought it was all going OK, started bringing up lots of queries. We have always responded immediately to any query and have bent over backwards for our buyer and her solicitor. All we got in return was a total lack of communication from this ignorant and arrogant solicitor. Our solicitor has been brilliant and responded immediately to everything, however, she had to wait a week for a response from Blakemores. They are appalling.
