I absolutely love this place....You can easily spend a few hours driving round and then a couple more where the rides and sea lion show are. Every time i have been i have seen most of the animals and quite close up too, sometimes it can get busy in the monkey area and at the lions. Defiantly worth getting out at the end and seeing the elephants, the sea lion show and the reptile house...it also give the kids chance to release a bit of energy for the journey home. Last time we went they had 5 month old lion cubs and that made my day, my 3 year old who is animal obsessed had the biggest smile on his face.
