£3.59 for the carvery is still good value. I like the idea of getting meat, veg and a drink for less than the cost of a McDonalds takeaway. The price goes up to around £7 for the carvery on a Sunday. There are a couple of other options on the menu such as starters and vegetarian options, and there is a quiz on a Friday night.

This place hasnt changed in the last 13 years decor is stll the same but actually dosnt look too bad to say it is that old. Food was ok at £3.50 for the carvery really good value, 3 options for meat and loads of veg, gravy was nice and yorkshire puds too.

Carvery was good at £3.50/per head, with plenty of options of veg. Not that many options however of other meals, it was a case of a salad which cost more than the carvery, or a fish pie! Puddings were plentiful however, not that I had one! Could do with a lick of paint around the place, carpets were there when I went years ago!! Not to mention the curtains!!

duke of welly now has a carvery as well as the usual pub grub. been here a few times. carvery is £3.50 which is a superb price considering you d pay more than that for a macdonalds. food is fairly good, definately worth the money. sometimes when busy, staff are a bit slow on the cleaning up side of things but generally a friendly, good value pub
