Good and bad. Excellent value --- dark chocolate, chutneys, orange juice, biscuits, kitchen goods (cloths, scourers and so on), spirits, German sausages, crisps, some bread products. The stuff that isn't too good are - almost all their fruit and veg, 'not so' fresh flowers, bacon. So pick and choose, but Aldi is not a supermarket for a weekly shop

I have been one of the many that laughed at Aldi in it's past. "Ooh look at that cheap shop selling all the 'no frills goods', i go to tesco and buy from their finest* range'... Well not anymore as Aldi has come along way. They offer goods at cheap prices (Although not supercheap anymore). They are not branded goods like in the main chain supermarkets but from what I have experienced most things are just as good.
Great to see a new Aldi in Ramsbottom
