DIABOLICAL!
Indigo - the food prevention restaurant! You know you’re in for a bad meal when one of your party has to get behind the bar to teach the waiter how to pull a pint of lager. Two and a half hours waiting for ghastly food is quite frankly an eating experience I wish I had passed on. New Management – good luck because it looks like you’re gonna need it! Dreadful in every sense of the word!

We ordered a take away from Indigo for 6 of us. The bill only came to £50 and we sent some food up to my parents who live nearby - so we managed to feed 8! The food is lovely, I can recommend the prawn dupiaza to anyone who wants plenty of flavour without the burn. We had a mixture of mild, medium and hot, and eveything was spot on. When the delivery arrived we found the restaurant had sent us bottle of chilled pinot grigio, a nice touch. We will definitely be ordering again, in fact my mouth is watering just thinking about it ha ha.

Tried this restaurant for a take away, absolutely spot on! Food and service are absolutely top notch. Will be definately going again - tonight in fact :-)
Only criticism is the price, its around the same as India Gate but the menu isnt as extensive. However, as far as the food/service goes - no criticism. One other thing, as i work for the 999 services we get a 10% discount on production of our ID badge, excellent incentive.

Star Rating - Very Good

This was our second time at the relatively new restaurant. It is situated outside Farnworth Town Centre and therefore not a prime location however there is ample parking.
The menu is not overly extensive like you'd find at some other restaurants and as a result is easier to choose to dine on.
Food was lovely again, all washed down with reasonably priced drinks.
Between our party of 6, we had several starters, my favourite being both Stuffed Mushrooms and the Chicken Chat although the Chicken Pakora seemed to melt in the mouth. For main, we had mild, medium and very hot....again all lovely, with choices of the usual lamb, chicken and prawn however, will consider the salmon and other fish dishes on future visits.
Hassan was very accommodating as a family member loves the strength of a Vindaloo however is allergic to potatoes (aloo) and his needs were catered to.
Service was good although could be improved upon which will come over time and with experience.
Could do with a Sunday offer for families rather than just mid-week special however I'm assured as things pick up different offers will be available.
If not sure, try a takeaway....I'm certain you'll go back for more.
CJD...Kearsley
