me my wife and 2yr old son called for sons dinner we ordered childrens meal and 2 cups of coffee it wasnt full but we got told we all had to have a meal or wouldnt be able to stay.. there was no signs or notice the owner said he didnt need signs when i said i will make a complaint he said who too as he was the owner would never go back ever again

A taste of Heaven is the only way i can describe Thompsons Chippy,there is a small sit down area but mainly people call in for a take away.I always call in when im back in Bury and if you manage to get the chips just as they come out of the fryer then you are guaranteed a treat. They are golden brown and crispy,it makes my water just thinking about it.The staff are ALWAYS friendly,smiling and will have a good old natter and a bit of banter that makes you feel welcome.All the best to staff from Arthur H, formally of Walmersley Rd.
