Great concept of attaching a stylish cafe / restaurant to a fish and chip shop.

The menus have changed a little recently as small snack type dishes have been removed and the menu dominated by whatever plus chips - although I think they do the usual cup of tea and a slice of cake in the afternoons.

Great layout, nice atmosphere, ok food, little pricey for lunch and there are better destinations to go to in the evenings.

3 stars due to my preference to visit during the day and the menu items all being a little too big.

Oh, they gave free meals away once to people reviewing then favourably in a national competition. So they are now Britain's best fish and chip restaurant - go figure!!
