My daughter started swimming lessons at 4 years old in our local pool, council run lessons. I wasn't happy with them and after witnessing her swimming various widths without armbands, for them to then tell me she hadn't earned any certificates at that stage, enough was enough. I took her out of these and she went straight into this swim school (we had been waiting on a list for a few weeks)After the very first lesson she gained her 5 metres (without armbands) on her next lesson she gained her 10 metres, and she progressed quickly from there.
It's a fantastic little school, with a small pool and small class sizes. The staff are warm and welcoming and they don't just focus on swimming they focus on maintaining professional strokes!! I'd swear that at 5 years old she is now a better swimmer than me!!! lol
It is a private school and so lessons are a bit more expensive, but the quality of lessons is far greater than any council run lessons in this area!
I would definately recommend this school for swimming lessons, if you want your child to progress quickly in a fun, family feel environment.
