Wagamama is a great great place to eat. The food is never disappointing, the portions are perfect and the service is quick. The food is probably not the most authentic Japanese, but the food quality is always great and very tasty. The restaurants have a cafeteria feel, and often noisy, busy, and you will probably end up sitting next to a stranger. The service is rather fun too, as the waiters move about the tables and scribbling your orders on your place matt.
I have tried a few things in Wagamama, and although I have enjoyed them all I tend to stick to the same meals now. Simple but efficient: chicken Katsu curry or the chilli beef rahmen :)

A great Thai meal and also perhaps one of the fastest you have ever eaten! If you are in a rush, these lads (and lasses) will sort you out. Our waitress reckoned she could spin a party of four, three courses, 40minutes no bother - ideal if you are going to a concert.
Not a menu to go over analysing, if in doubt get a grip of the staff, tell them what you like and they Will do the rest. However if you dint leave room for a piece of the White Chocolate & Ginger Cheesecake you are missing out, big time!
Probably the last place in the world that still has a sign in reception that states "slippery when wet" which always makes me smile....weird I know.
The printworks is ok, but I actually prefer the restaurant just off Deansgate near the new RBS building. It just seems a little calmer and as it has windows it feels less confined.

What can you say about Wagamamas......... if you're looking for a quick healthy eat in a relaxed place this is ace dining in an informal setting, love the ramen bowls (steak and chicken being knockout). It's feel good food really as most of the dishes I consider to be good for you and I like the way you get it when it's ready, very clever as makes for little complaints in the "he's got his food, but I haven't got mine" category!! Always fresh, always cooked to order and good pricing so if you like Asian food, you can't go wrong.....If gigs on at MEN then it gets v. busy, but plenty of seating and it makes for a good atmosphere as you're all sat in rows on benches. Can't ever remember getting a bad dish and have eaten here many many times. We (me and my wife x) usually choose to go during the week for a quick eat. Great times for great guys!!

Can't knock it, simple, quick tasty food. We go at least once per week and with all the offers they do, its cheaper than cooking at home. Chicken Chilli Men (No.49) is my recommendation - It's got a bit of kick!
They deliver too!

Wagamama's is superb value for money. I tend to go here before heading to the cinema. Because of the canteen style layout it makes waga's a good place to grab something nice and quick. Although because i wouldn't really recommend it for a more intimate dinner. As for the food its always consistent the Ramon's (soups) are always a winner, and i would definitely recommend Chicken Katsu Curry (the curry taste's like good chip shop curry :-) and check out the Steak Soba.
