An Ok Thai restaurant that aims to be uber cool, from the odd shaped cutlery that slips out of your hands to the black on black surroundings.
Cuisine wise Ikan certainly sits above the fast food equivalents of Wagamana and Tampopo but doesn't quite hit the heights it promises.
Lots of DimSum, coconut based dishes and main courses with lots of vowels in their name!
I am not the biggest Thai food fan, which could be linked to my less than excellent feedback. However I have eaten in the restaurant on three separate occasions, so would recommend that you try at least once. But please dont save for a special occasion as you may be disappointed.
We were impressed that the owner of Ikan made it her business to chat with us and seek out our feedback. We were constructive and she took the criticism well.
