This is supposed to be the curry mile... Loads of competition so everyone is hustling for the best restaurant... This place is way off the mark. I fell victim to the sales pitch of the guy pitching his restaurant at the door... I asked the for 10% off if we ate their, he accepted instantly.
Had a Prawn Puree starter and the pastry was greasy and extremely sickly, For a main I choose the Tandoori mix grill.. The chicken (on the bone) tasted like it had been sat and dried out for weeks so I didn't eat it... I never leave food because I am greedy sod, so this says it all for me.
Don't waste your money here... there is too much good food in Rusholme to spoil your night at the Hanaan.

I really wasn't very impressed with this place at all. The decor is very not very nice it is trying really hard to be modern and contemporary but failing in every possible way. I was hoping that the food would make up for this but unfortunately it wasn't the case. The service was very slow and when the food finally arrived it was very bland and tasteless, all in all not a very good night could have stayed at home saved 40 quid and made a better curry myself which really is saying something!
