I have visited here once for a work colleagues leaving do, so there were quite a few of us.  We arrived early at 6:30 and had to queue for about 30 minutes until we were ushered into the lift up to the bar by the staff.  The view from the bar over Machester was amazing and the atmosphere was a lot more relaxed than I anticipated.  The service is excellent and a waiter comes to your table to take your order.  The cocktail list is massive - and they aren't cheap - all at eight pounds each - you don't need manythough!  The waiters are able to explain exactly what each drink is like and will even choose for you! Friends that arrived later were allowed to queue jump if they quoted our table number to the staff downstairs, which was good for us, but not really fair on the people waiting downstairs in line.  I would  recommend this place for a special occasion - perhaps payday!
