myself and my girlfriend had a snowboarding lesson there and it was good fun. there wasn't a ski lift when we went, which was quite difficult as a beginner to walk up the hill with the snowboard attached, but there has been a lift created now which gives a massive advantage to beginners.

i would say it's a great place to let the kids learn, whilst the parents have a beer and watch.

Great for beginners! if you can already ski/snowboard then it can get a bit tedious as its not really steap enough and a bit too slow, plus it gets crowded if you go at the wrong time. But saying all that Its always been a good laugh and the next best thing to going to the mountians

if you like snow sports, you ll love this place. its the closest thing to the alps, unless you want to drive up to the Scottish mountains. You can ski, snowboard, rock climb, snow tube plus more. there are good deals on lessons and group bookings. there are a couple of restaraunts including nando s plus a snow and rock ski shop. To ski and board, the price is roughly £20 for an hour and a half which includes equipment hire. this is a fairly reasonable price as some dry ski slopes are only a fiver cheaper. i ve been around six times and loved it each time. whether your staying for an hour or two or making a day of it, i would recommend this place . If you ve never been skiing or boarding and thinking of going on a holiday, then chill factore is the ideal place to try it out and see how you like it .
