Had a few beers at the Albert with the Mrs last night, must admit it felt really comfy here.

I haven't actually been in for 5 or so years... It was always a quick beer before barging into the restaurants. Going back a few years it was a little rough 'n' ready, which was still good as the place had loads of its own special kind of character... But not the place i would have taken my straight laced wife... That has all changed now and there seemed to be a nice happy bunch of people propping the bar up.

If you were a regular for a quick beer at the Clarence before your curry, then this place is a decent replacement for a sneaky drink (The Clarence is now another restaurant by the way).
