I think this is genuinely the find of 1,000 finds... It's now the top of my list for the best Indian Restaurants.
Amazing food, very nice decor, great atmosphere... And more reasonably priced than half of the crappy Indian restaurants around Manchester.

1st time to Akbars after hearing so much hype. Went on a Monday evening so it wasn't too busy when we arrived (you can't book). They have a large setting area at the front, which will be good if your waiting to be seated. The main restaurant area as a modern contemporary feel about it, with large booth style seats down 1 side.
They have a nice range of dishes including a few traditional ones. Recommend a family nan on a large skewer. Can't fault the food and the prices too. About £20 a head including a few beers. Best Indian in Manchester for me. Going to take something special to get me back to the curry mile. Which dare i say it as gone downhill in recent times. I would be prepared to wait for a table, when i left at around 8:30p.m it was very busy (and that was on a Monday!!)
