Ever since I returned fom Brussels I have seen an increasing number of French ,Iitalian and now German tea and coffee shops in this country. This little coffee shop in Bexley is no different serving home made Italian food by the matronly Italian woman and run by her shrewd Greek husband. The tortillini with sun dried tomatoes was wonderful and could only be home made and also their lasgne which I had a few weeks ago. Their Illy coffee however is strange as I have never heard of that brand before both in Europe or this country and the name is very iffy to say the least. Most of the cafes use Dowe Egberts. The panetone is vey good though expensive and for a couple of years I have been buying it in Asda..
It's a lovely place to meet up with friends especially housewives with kids and ofcourse those actively seeking work but not found any.
.
Anyway I am always bumping into Europeans either with some British blood or residing in this country for some reason. This country is overrun with foreigners of French origin, Italian and now Germans. Spaniards, Italians and Eastern Eurpeans have always lived in London but the more wealthier countries of Europe are now coming here looking for work. British people have a resentment against Asian and Black people taking over their countries and not being able to recognise their countries which incidently is what Europeans complain of in their own countries . I can say the same of these Europeans who are not only taking my jobs but giving me agro for being richer than them. The British probably have got over thier past hatred of the French anf Germans and secretly thinking of joining the Euro zone though that currency is in trouble and the EU is about to break up with the recession and funding will not be available for failing economies and everybody would like to look after their own. I briefly thought about joining the BNP but I wouldn't qualify on the grounds of colour but would on nationality although I am not sure what it is to be British anymore. I am sure the British would like everybody to return to their country of origin and it would be ethnic cleansing without the gas chamber. Increasingly Germans are returning to the superioriiy of the Teutonic race even though there are very few blonde haired blue eyed people living there and they would have to look to the Danes and the Scandinavians to help them out in physically importing citizens from there, May I add Hitler was dark haired and dark eyed so their theory does not hold true. But I think the British put up with the Europeans mainly on the grounds of European ehnicity as some Italians and Spainiards are various shades of white and on the grounds of religion. Well there would not be this problem if there was no colonization and I do call the European nation's high amount of ethnic population ''White Man's Burden' instead of the condescending atitude of civilising dark Africa and and the Savage Orient. But ofcourse without these population we would not get such wonderful and various cuisines.
Anway at rhis cosy cafe I met this woman who was quarter French and knew quite a lot about the Belgian French which was quite enlightening. For moment I thought I was in my favourite cafe Caffe Nero in Sidcup which is full of Europeans and foreigners alike.
Ideally I believe in a free world and ethnic diversity and racial equality but I don't thnk that's possible except in a utopia. Increasingly the British and the Europeans could learn about equal rights and religious tolerance and certainly it would solve a lot problems with social strife. I don't want a 'white world' no matter what the justifications are and this is true for all countries who don't like foreigners including the Far East. You are going to come into contact with different people from the world and if they are not breaking any rules or doing things legitamtely you have to live with foreighners whether you like it not!
