OK pub in a great location right next to Brighton station. It's closeness to the station and free wifi usually draws in the commuter crowds in the early evening, but at the weekends it's mostly aimed at the young professionals.
Pretty dark and gothic looking inside, plenty of comfy seating and there is a roof terrace for the summer months/smokers. Toilets could do with a lick of paint and are quite small.
Quite big bar area with a decent selection of lagers/real ales/wines etc. Quite pricey last time i was in. They do serve food but as i've never eaten there I can't comment.
I believe upstairs there is a small theatre called the 'nightingale' that has events on regularly, but again, never been so can't comment. 3/5.
