I would personally never use Kindertons again.

The staff are very rude and do not know how to write letters/emails - i.e. bad punctuation, bad spelling etc.

Whenever I phone their office, I would give all my details and then would be advised that someone needs to phone me back - however no one ever calls me back so I just keep going round in circles.

They did send me one letter which said that they will keep me informed throughout the claim - but the claim has now gone on for 2 months and I dont really know what is happening!

I've just had a claim settled by Kindertons Accident Management. The settlement was a lot lower than I was originally promised and they have sent me a bill for petrol for the hire car - even though I had given it back with the same amount in it.

I feel let down and only wish that I had red some of the reviews on here before agreeing to deal with them.

I will be writing a letter of complaint to my insurance company as they were the ones that refered me to Kindertons. Hopefully my insurance company will think about the comments I relay to them before recommending them to someone else!

Currently got a claim going through with this company. I felt pushed into dealing with them by my insurers and I really feel that I have been stitched up!

I don't like how they are dealing with my claim - they have put forward an engineers report i dont agree with and a very low valuation on my car! They have said to me that if I supply my own evidence to prove repair can be done a lot cheaper that they will not get hire car charges back from the insurers!

If I cancel the claim now I will have to pay hire car charges!

I feel really stitched up - if i stick with it then i dont get much for my car and if i cancel i have to pay them a ridculous amount of money for the hire car!

They are meant to be working on my behalf - so this should mean that they deal with things how i want them to go rather than the way they want!

Accident management companies are a waste of time... i really see no point in them - they are only here to make money for themselves and not to look after the clients!

A sincere word of warning - do not use Kindertons.

Having just been dragged through a 3 month long insurance claim (3rd party liability, simple claim!), Kindertons engineers valued the vehicle at half it's market rate. I was expected to trawl car adverts and find other prices to dispute what they valued (and submitted) to the 3rd party without my consent.

I went to recover contents of my vehicle from the garage where I had stored it, only to find that Kindertons had walked in and towed it away. My car! Livid, I got a limp apology, and after 3 phonecalls, 3 weeks later, they posted the contents to me.

Kindertons gave me a short term hire car to cover the time it took to make the claim, which I returned with a full tank (with photos for evidence!). Imagine my surprise when I got a bill for almost £100 in fuel.

To compound the entire experience, Kindertons will make endless promises to do things - call you back, contact the third party, or even represent you in making a claim.

Don't be fooled - you can deal with the 3rd party better yourself.

Wouldnt know if good insurer or not but i know they hassel the hell out of you when your the other party. Sent me a text to call them and when i did got told office was closed. i havent got time for them calling me all the time. They should be contacting my insurer not me.

Third Party walked round back of her car as I was passing and opened her door into my car. We are both female drivers. I stopped and exchanged details and she said she was sorry. I was given Kinderton's details and recommended by the insurer's repair garage.
They were so keen to take on the case but when the other party turned out to be with the same insurance company they quietly shelved our claim and didn't even tell me they had done this. When we asked for copies of correspondence between them and the insurers they failed to provide it. My husband had thirty years dealing with these kind of claims and could have sorted it himself in days.
In my experience they are very poor and to be avoided. Mrs M. A. S.

i have had two bad dealings with kinder tons. staff are rude, hire cars don't turn up when they are suppose to, and in general they are not very helpful and give you wrong information. would not recommend they to anybody!

Very disappointed with their suppoer in general. Poor communication between them and the garage, given wrong information on delivering a replacement car and the collection of my car for repair. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Following an accident that was not my fault, i contaced Kindertons Accident Management as they used to be a customer of mine for many years in a previous job and i know how good their reputation is so decided to use them to manage my claim. Living rurally and with it snowing and bad weather, i needed a 4x4 to replace the landrover whilst it was to be repaired. It took a little time to get (2 weeks) as "everyone was asking for a 4x4" because of te weather but the Landrover was driveable and they kept us well informed as to when they anticpated we'd get the car. I nominated the bodyshop nearest to me which also has a great reputation and they delivered the VW Tiguan there for me to collect and drop off the Land Rover. They authorised the repairs and through out they have been excellent in communicating and the best thing is it hasn't cost me a penny. These guys really know how to take the hassle out of accidents especially when it's not your fault so i wouldn't hesitate in reccomending them to friends and family.
